How to Replace a Skagen Watch Band with Screws

Here is a step by step tutorial on how to replace your Skagen watch band with crews. A majority of Skagen watches use this method to replace a band. Keep on reading to find out more.

Pre-Steps

1. You will need a screwdriver and tweezers.
2. Be sure to work on a flat surface
3. Be careful not to lose the screws of your watch

Step 1:

Place your watch on your flat surface with the back of the watch facing upwards. Locate the screws of your watch. Use your screwdriver to remove the screws. When using the screwdriver be sure to turn the screwdriver counterclockwise. Remove the screws once they have been loosened

Step 2:

After, you will be able to remove the band from the case with ease.

 

Be sure to place your screws in a safe place where they will not get lost. Since they are tiny be sure to use the tweezers to take hold of the screws. Repeat steps 1-2 and now you have both straps off.

Step 3:

With the back of the watch still facing you, be sure to take the new strap with the buckle and place it on the side of the watch that reads 12 o’clock. Take your new watch strap and slide it into the case.

Be sure that the end of the strap is pushed in all the way in. You will be able to see that the holes of the band are in sync with the holes on the watch case. Take the screws and place them in the holes. If you have a hard time putting the screws back, use the tweezers to place them.

Step 4:

Use your screwdriver to put the screws back on. Be sure to use a clockwise motion when screwing it back in. Repeat this step on the other side and your new watch straps are fully installed!
