Step One: On the back of the watch, find out the little notches.

Step Two: Open the cover using a screwdriver. Exert little pressure into one slot and then twist the cover anticlockwise. Most of the people have used long nose pliers or needle pliers to uncover the fossil watch. But it’s recommended to use a Flathead screwdriver in order to keep you watches away from any kind of scratch or damage. In addition, it yields better grip as well.

Step Three: Take out the Nylon cover, which is located inside of the watch. You can do this through the flat head screwdriver.

Step Four: Gently press the spring, in which the battery is fixed. Using a screwdriver, catch the released the battery.

Step Five: Insert the new battery. Make sure the new battery is of high quality and compatible with the watch. Also check that the battery is properly inserted.

Step Six: Follow the aforementioned steps to reassemble the watch.
